Margarethe draws inspiration for her work from many sources: the limestone cliffs of the Bruce Peninsula, the shores of Lake Superior, and the Georgian Bay coastline. Each summer she explores new regions on foot and by kayak. Her most recent work explores the Fox Islands along the north shore of Georgian Bay. Margarethe has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibits and her work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
