The London Artists'
Studio Tour, held the second weekend in April
(11th - 13th), is a self-guided tour. This
year local artists invite you meet them in their
working environments and learn more about their
creative processes. The London Artist's Studio
Tour is organized by a small group of professional
artists. Each year this core group is joined by
several artists through a jurying process. The
jury looks for quality art by professional artists
who show a dedication to perfecting their craft
and have a studio able to accommodate the tour.
Included in the tour is a wide range of media,
from the traditional to the unusual. This year
you will find excellent examples of drawing, painting,
printmaking, stained glass, fibre art, ceramics,
sculpture, and woodworking.
Friday, April 11th
is opening night. Between the hours of 7 and
9:30 p.m., you will be treated to refreshments
and have first choice of artists' works. Studios
will remain open Saturday, April 12th from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 13th from noon
to 5 p.m.
